Ten minutes. Six exercises. Visible glow in two weeks. The exact morning sequence my long-term students swear by.

If I could give every woman one thing it would be this: a morning face yoga routine that takes less time than scrolling through Instagram and changes how your face looks within two weeks. No serums on their own can do this. No facialist visit replaces it. Below is the exact 10-minute sequence I teach in my 21-Day Lift program — designed to depuff, lift, sculpt, and finish with a real glow.

Why mornings matter for face yoga

Overnight, fluid pools in your face. Cortisol is at its peak. Circulation is sluggish. A morning routine moves all of that out — so you walk into your day looking awake, sculpted, and lit from within instead of puffy and tired. Done daily, it also retrains your muscles to hold a lifted resting position. That is the secret behind natural anti-aging.

"Skincare works on the surface. Face yoga works on the structure that holds the surface up."

Before you begin

  • Wash your hands and face. Always.
  • Apply a few drops of facial oil or your morning serum so your fingers glide.
  • Sit upright in front of a mirror. Shoulders down, jaw soft.
  • Breathe through the nose throughout — never strain or scrunch the skin.

The 10-minute morning face yoga routine

1. Lymphatic drainage sweep (90 seconds)

Using flat fingers, sweep from the center of your face out toward your ears, then down the sides of the neck to the collarbone. Repeat 10 times on each section: forehead, cheeks, jaw, neck. This is the depuffing step that makes the rest of the routine actually show.

2. Cheek lift (90 seconds)

Smile gently with closed lips. Place index fingers on top of cheekbones and apply light resistance downward. Lift your cheeks against the resistance, hold for 5 seconds, release. Do 10 reps. This rebuilds the mid-face support that softens with age.

3. Jawline sculpt (90 seconds)

Tilt your head back slightly. Push your lower jaw forward until you feel the muscles under your chin engage. Hold for 5 seconds. Release. 10 reps. This is the single best exercise for double chin reduction and jawline definition.

4. Eye area refresh (90 seconds)

Place index fingers at the outer corners of your eyes (no pressure on the skin — anchor only). Squint gently using the lower eyelids only, like a soft wink. 15 reps. This lifts the under-eye area and reduces hooding without ever pulling the delicate skin.

5. Forehead smoother (60 seconds)

Make soft fists and place them in the center of your forehead. Press gently and sweep outward toward the temples. 10 sweeps. Releases the tension most of us carry between our brows.

6. Neck and décolletage finish (90 seconds)

Tilt your head back, press your tongue to the roof of your mouth, and slowly nod yes 10 times. Then sweep both hands upward from the collarbone to the jaw, 15 times. Your neck ages faster than your face — never skip this one.

7. Glow seal (60 seconds)

Rub your palms together to warm them, then cup them over your face. Breathe in for 4, out for 6. Three rounds. This boosts microcirculation and seals in the lit-from-within finish that face yoga is famous for.

What to expect

  • Days 1–7: noticeable depuffing, brighter eyes, fewer pillow lines.
  • Days 8–21: softer jawline, lifted cheeks, real glow without filter.
  • Months 2–3: visible reduction in fine lines, more sculpted profile, friends asking what you changed.

How to stick with it (the part everyone skips)

Anchor the routine to something you already do — your morning coffee, brushing your teeth, your skincare. The students who get the biggest transformation are the ones who treat their 10 minutes as non-negotiable as their shower. Two weeks of consistency does more than two months of inconsistent effort.

A note from Surbhi

I taught this routine to women in their 30s, 50s, and 70s. It works at every age — because muscle tone responds to the same input no matter how old you are. Ten minutes a day. That is the entire commitment. Your future face will thank you.
